Yesterday (Saturday, August 30, 2014), Marshall and I brought Mom home from the Mortuary. She is now back home with us here, where she will stay until her final journey back home to Hawaii.
I have been working with close family members on the details of the Memorial Service. Time and date are set (click on image above to see larger version), and we are just working on more specific details to help it all go smoothly.
We all have been very appreciative of support from friends and family during this time.
Please continue to pass the word along, as we know there are still some that we may have missed.

Aloha Mrs. Haunani… beautiful and graceful Hawaiian lady. You taught us all how to persevere during trials with grace. Your art inspired us to take time out of our busy lives and enjoy the beautiful things that make us all happy. We will all miss you so much.
Hello Marshall,
I guess you made the move to the mainland. I tried to contact you this year, but I think your e-mail has changed. I just brought up this page and am so saddened to hear about the sudden loss of your wife, and wanted to share my deepest condolences with you and your family. It is never easy, but sudden death, without sufficient time to wrap your head around it, and have time to say goodbye and prepare is always so difficult.
I watched the “father’s Day video posted and I can tell how close you all were and what a loving and gentle woman your wife was. I hope you are finding some comfort in her beautiful memories, as time slowly moves on.
Be well.
Julie
